Happy Valentine's Day. And speaking of such let's hearken back to the good, old days of February 1996 when my second Cool Site of the Day design nomination inspired me to create Doctor Skull. Who or what is Doctor Skull? I’m glad you asked because he was one of my more memorable inventions, a guru of cryptic pontifications for the lost and lovelorn on the web, a deity of the deserted and broken hearted who helped more than a few move on with their lives (think Dear Abby for the Dark Side). Cool Site of the Day no longer matters, but maybe in this time of Facebook, eHarmony, Match.com, etc Doctor Skull is needed more than ever.
